About TurfGrass Experts

Florence is a town that keeps a racetrack, so people here know what turf looks like when somebody has been looking after it. TurfGrass Experts brings that same attention to ordinary ground — the strip between sidewalk and street, the back yard that leans toward the fence, the bare patch under the maple that never wanted to fill in. October decides most of it: cool nights, heavy dew on the Boone County ridges, seed going down into soil still holding summer's warmth. By the time frost stiffens the blades in November the work is invisible, and then in April it shows up all at once. Mowing, trimming and edging carry the weeks in between, until the color holds on its own.
