About Payne landscape Co.

October in Todd County turns the hedgerows rust and copper. Leaves stack against fences along the road that runs east toward the tall stone obelisk at Fairview, and yards around Elkton need clearing before the wind piles them somewhere worse. Payne landscape Co. handles that fall stretch — mowing while the grass still asks for it, leaf cleanup, and trimming back the shaggy corners a summer let go. Cold mornings, warm afternoons, the smell of cut grass thinner now than it was in June. A lawn raked open to the light in autumn is a small, satisfying thing to leave behind.
