About Etown Outdoor Services

On the coldest mornings the air holds still, the cold settles in low over the yards, and the snow that fell overnight has set up hard by first light. Etown Outdoor Services plows through it — driveways, dooryards and lots, walkways cleared by hand, sand and salt on the steep pitches. Some storms come with weight behind them, and a heavy fall before breakfast is part of the job. There is pride in the shape of a finished dooryard: banks stacked out of the sight lines, the turn left wide enough for a truck, the steps bare. A town runs on mornings like that.
