Crown Mowing & Wash

About Crown Mowing & Wash

By midsummer a Kentucky house wears the humidity: green film creeping up the north side of the siding, a driveway gone gray, a porch that has quietly darkened a shade since spring. Crown Mowing & Wash handles both halves of that problem — the lawn cut and edged, and the hard surfaces washed back to the color they started as. Elizabethtown gets storms that roll up the valley and leave everything damp and streaked, which is precisely when the difference shows most. There is a particular pleasure in the moment the wand crosses concrete and a clean line appears behind it, matched by the straight border where turf meets drive. Around town and out toward Cecilia and Glendale, the pairing makes a whole property look cared for at once.
