Bub's Lawnscapes

About Bub's Lawnscapes

Out toward Glendale the land opens into hayfield and fencerow, and a lawn out there has to hold its own against everything trying to grow into it. Bub's Lawnscapes works that seam between yard and field — mowing the kept ground, running the trimmer down the fence line, cutting back the brush that creeps in every wet season. Autumn is the honest test, when the maples let go all at once and a week of wind can bury a yard twice over. Clearing it is plain work with a plain reward: bare turf, swept gravel, and a place that looks tended right up to its edges. Bub's keeps that going around Elizabethtown and the small towns nearby, where the grass and the countryside meet without a clear border.
