About Don kaylor DBA Dons Lawn Mowing Service LLC

The town is named for the high ground it sits on, a long dry backbone where the rain has to make up its mind which way to run. Don Kaylor's mowing service works those ridge-top lots out along the old Dixie Highway, where the wind never entirely quits and a lawn dries fast enough to cut early. Mornings begin with dew burning off the open yards and end with the clippings blown clear of the drive and the edges run true beside the walk. Mowing, trimming around mailboxes and posts, edging, and a clean sweep before leaving — kept on a schedule nobody has to think about. On a clear evening up here you can watch weather coming from a long way off, which turns out to be a useful thing when a week of cutting has to get done.
