Chappel's Lawn Care

About Chappel's Lawn Care

Dawson Springs wakes with the Tradewater still holding a low ribbon of fog, and by the time it lifts off the bottomland the mowers are already moving. Chappel's Lawn Care works the yards between the old spa streets and the edge of the Pennyrile woods, where oak shade makes one half of a lawn grow slower than the other and the cutting has to answer for it. Summer here arrives humid and generous, and the grass takes it personally — a week is never quite a week in July. The work is mowing, trimming close along fences and foundations, edging the walks back to a clean line, and blowing every clipping off the concrete before the truck pulls away. What's left is a yard that looks intentional from the road: even color, sharp borders, nothing tracked into the street.
