About McAfee Mowing and Landscaping, Inc.

Out past Forkland, where the headwater creeks of the Salt River cut through the farm country, the properties get bigger and the driveways get longer, and the line between yard and field is a decision somebody has to mow. McAfee Mowing and Landscaping, Inc. takes both ends of that: town lots trimmed close, and acreage held open where the ground would rather go to weeds and volunteer cedar. Late August is baled-hay weather, the fields gone gold and the lawns wanting a little height left on them, and the cut is set accordingly. Beds get cleaned out, edges brought back to shape, and everything hauled off rather than left in a heap behind the barn. A big place kept tidy reads from a long way off — that is the point of the work.
