About LandonsOutdoorServices

North of Danville the Harrodsburg road runs out past black fence and hayfields, and in high summer the workday starts before the sun does. LandonsOutdoorServices is rolling in that half-dark, headlights sweeping a dew-heavy yard, mowing while the air is still cool enough to move in. The trimmer follows the mower, then the edge along the drive, then the blower until the concrete is bare again. Finishing a place at seven in the morning and leaving it perfectly quiet behind you is one of the plainer joys of this line of work. By the time the heat comes up, three yards are done and the day is barely started.
