Al's Lawn Services

About Al's Lawn Services

Crestwood grew up around a railroad stop, and the little grid of streets near the tracks still keeps its old rhythm. Al's Lawn Services runs that grid on a schedule of its own: mow, trim around the fence posts and the mailbox, edge the walk, then blow the clippings off the concrete before the truck pulls away. Afternoons here carry the smell of cut grass and warm gravel, with a freight horn somewhere off toward La Grange. The lawns are modest and much looked at, so the lines matter. Al's leaves them straight.
