About Whitetail Landscaping LLC

Summer mornings in Covington start under river fog, the Ohio breathing its cool white up the streets until the sun burns through and the grass stands wet and glinting from Devou Park's ridge down to the Licking. Whitetail Landscaping LLC works that hour on purpose — mowing the terraced yards of the hill neighborhoods, edging the narrow strips of green that squeeze between old brick stoops and the sidewalk, running the trimmer clean around fence posts, retaining walls, and the roots of shade trees that have outlasted every porch on the block. There is real satisfaction in a line cut straight across a slope, in the stripe that follows the lay of the land instead of fighting it. Come autumn, when the wind off the water strips the maples along MainStrasse and drifts leaves against every stair rail, the cleanups begin: yards raked open, beds cleared, curbs swept so the block looks cared for from the corner. It is ordinary work, done well, on ground that rises and falls the way Covington does — and a tidy lawn here reads like a good handshake from the street.
