About Berry's Backhoe Services

Morning arrives slowly in Corydon: fog lifting off the Ohio bottoms north of town, the fields going gray to green as the sun clears the tree line along US 60. Berry's Backhoe Services keeps lawn care on that early clock, mowing the short grid of streets in town and the long drives out where yards give way to corn and hayground. The work is mowing, string trimming, crisp edging along walks and drives, and hauling off the clippings and leaves a western Kentucky season leaves behind. There is real satisfaction in the moment the mower shuts off and the yard sits square and level, the edge cut sharp as a chalk line, dew still on the far corner. Flat river-county ground shows every stripe and every missed pass, which is reason enough to do it right the first time. Corydon is a small place, and a well-kept yard here is something a neighbor notices from the road.
