About Straight Cut Tree Services

South of Corbin the Cumberland goes over the falls, and under a full moon it throws a bow of light no other waterfall in this hemisphere makes. Straight Cut Tree Services works the country around it — hemlock and rhododendron down in the hollows, maples and oaks in the yards of a railroad town. Trimming and pruning keep crowns off roofs and out of the lines that climb every ridge. Removal takes patience on this ground: plenty of rope, a planned notch, and nothing underneath when it goes. Ice is the hard season, and the cleanup after it — gates and walks cleared, limbs stacked and hauled — is the part people remember all year.
