About McKee Lawn Care

October is Cadiz at its busiest, the streets around the courthouse square filling up for the ham festival while the maples along Main Street let go all at once. McKee Lawn Care spends that month getting ahead of the leaves — mowing them down where it helps, raking and hauling where it does not, keeping walks and drives clear before the rain makes a paste of everything. The cutting slows as the nights cool, and the last mows of the year are the ones that hold their look longest, edges cut sharp against the curb. Trimming finishes the corners and the fence lines the mower cannot reach. Come November the yards on this end of Trigg County are bare, brown at the edges and perfectly squared away, ready to be left alone a while.
