L&D Lawn Mowing Service

About L&D Lawn Mowing Service

The Licking River takes its time going past Butler, and the bottomland it made grows grass faster than any ridge in Pendleton County. That means June is relentless and L&D Lawn Mowing Service simply keeps ahead of it, one yard and then the next, up the hill road and back down to the river flats. Every mow ends with the trimmer working fence lines, garden corners and the base of the old shade trees, and then the edges cut back so a walk has a shadow line along it again. Clippings come off the drive before the truck leaves, because half of a finished yard is what you cannot see anymore. When the evening cools and the river mist starts up, a fresh-cut lawn in Butler is a fine thing to sit out and look at.
