About Scotty's Lawn Services

Under Bowling Green the rock is hollow — Lost River runs through the dark and surfaces where it pleases, and the grass above it greens up early because of it. Scotty's Lawn Services works that ground through the long spring evenings, when the light turns gold across a yard and every blade stands sharp after the cut. The work is mowing, string trimming around fence posts and the mailbox, edging the sidewalk seam, and sweeping the clippings back off the concrete. Spring here can turn a lawn shaggy in four days flat, so the calendar matters as much as the blade. Come back the next week and do it again — that is how a yard on a Bowling Green street stays even all the way to October.
