About Gabbard Brother LLC

Big Hill is where the Bluegrass runs out and the mountains begin, and the climb up it hands you the whole rolling country back in one look. Gabbard Brother LLC works both sides of that line, mowing, trimming, edging and carting off the cuttings for people in town and out along the ridge roads. March light is thin, and the first pass of the year is more cleanup than mowing — dead thatch, sticks off the trees, the leaves that wintered over in the corners. But that pass sets up everything after it, and a month later the yard is thick and even because of it. Beginning well is most of it.
