Tichenor's Lawn Care & Tree

About Tichenor's Lawn Care & Tree

Late in the day at Beaver Dam the light goes gold across the water and the ballfields, and the smell of cut grass carries a long way down the street. Tichenor's Lawn Care & Tree works those evening hours as gladly as the early ones, mowing town lots and the wider places out where the county roads run toward Hartford. Edging is where the craft shows itself — a firm line along a driveway that still reads sharp a week later. Trimming, blowing the clippings back off the concrete, clearing the sweetgum drop once it starts in earnest: the ordinary care that keeps a yard from getting away from a person. It is steady, useful work in a town that likes things looking right.
