About Throgmorton Landscaping

Bardwell sits where the Purchase flattens out toward the Mississippi bottoms, and the light out here comes at you sideways across soybean rows. Throgmorton Landscaping works those wide-open yards along the Carlisle County roads, mowing on days when the wind carries river-damp up from the west. There is a real satisfaction in an edge cut clean along a gravel drive — one straight line drawn against all that open country. Trimming around porch posts, hauling off the leaf drifts that pile against a fence in November, holding the grass even from the road to the back lot: that is the work, week after week. Bardwell yards look like somebody tends them, because somebody does.
