About DeSpain Lawn Care and Bushhogging

Past the last streetlight outside Bardstown, the county turns to fenceline and field, and the ground stops being a lawn and starts being acreage. DeSpain Lawn Care and Bushhogging works both sides of that line — mowing and trimming in town, bush hogging the rougher ground where saplings, briars and horseweed take a pasture back if nobody stops them. July is when the work matters most, the heat pushing growth faster than anybody can walk it down by hand. A field cut back opens up again, fencerows visible end to end, the shape of the property returned to it. Some jobs are about neatness; this one is about keeping a piece of land the way it was meant to be used.
