Grass Slasherz

About Grass Slasherz

Morning comes to Annville in layers: fog in the hollows first, then the ridgelines standing up out of it, then at last the yards along the 421 corridor. Jackson County grass grows the way everything grows against those forested eastern Kentucky slopes — fast, and everywhere at once, and it takes a certain relish to meet it. Grass Slasherz brings mowing, trimming and edging to Annville lawns, and for the places that got ahead of somebody, brush and overgrowth cut back down to something a mower can own again. There is a moment right after the final pass when a yard reads sharp and open against all that green hill behind it. That moment is what the work is for.
