About TLC Services LLC

South-central Wichita, down near McAdams Park, is one of the older parts of the city, streets laid out before anyone thought to make them wide, with small yards and driveways that were never built with a full-size plow in mind. TLC Services works those blocks by hand as much as by blade — shovels for the tightest drives, a smaller plow for the streets that allow it — a part of town that doesn't always sit at the top of a bigger route. The same streets, cleared the same careful way, regardless of how narrow the driveway or how far back from the main roads the house sits. The crew treats the walks first, since these older sidewalks carry more cracks and frost heave than newer concrete, and ice finds every one of them. By the time the block is done, the park nearby sits under an even coat of untouched snow while the driveways around it are dark and clear.
