About Marcs tree and landscape

South of Wichita, past the last subdivisions, Broadway narrows and picks up speed on its way toward Mulvane, the kind of stretch where a cleared driveway can drift back over if the wind catches it wrong along the open shoulder. Marcs tree and landscape works that corridor and the streets around it, clearing long driveways and small-town lots where the routes run longer between stops than they do closer to downtown. Fewer houses, more road between them, which means more time spent watching which way the wind is blowing before deciding where to push the snow. Scrape the drive down to pavement, clear the walk, break the ice at the step — the same work as anywhere, just paced by miles instead of blocks. By the time the route loops back toward the city, the string of cleared driveways looks like beads strung along the highway shoulder.
