Earl and Earl small business

About Earl and Earl small business

Delano sits just west of the river, in the part of Wichita that used to be the rowdy end of the old cattle-town days before it settled into a quieter district of shops and old rail buildings near the depot. Earl and Earl works those streets and the neighborhoods around them, a two-person outfit that shows up with a plow and a couple of shovels and gets a block done before most people finish their coffee. Clear the drive, clear the walk, break the ice at the step, move to the next house — no big operation behind it, just steady, direct work done one property at a time. The old depot buildings nearby keep their lines under snow better than most, brick holding its shape while the yards around them go soft and white. Two people, one truck, and a part of town with a longer history than most of the city around it.
