About Daniels Lawn and Landscaping Service

North of Wichita the horizon collects a grain elevator, white and square, standing over fields that go gold well before the lawns do. Daniels Lawn and Landscaping Service runs its late-summer weeks between there and the city — mowing, string trimming, edging, weeding and mulching beds, trimming shrubs back into line, hauling the debris away. August asks a great deal of grass around here; the answer is cutting high, cutting often, and never letting the edges slide. Come evening the yards along the route sit tidy in that long copper light the plains do so well. It is a good hour to look back down a finished street.
