Cottonwood Lawn and Landscape

About Cottonwood Lawn and Landscape

In Wichita, early summer is the season of cottonwood fluff, drifting over the Arkansas River and catching in the grass along its banks like a slow, warm flurry. Cottonwood Lawn and Landscape shares its name with the Kansas state tree and works lawns and landscapes across the city, where heat builds day after day and afternoon storms can stack up out of the southwest. Mowing keeps a regular rhythm, trimming is exact around beds and trees, and the landscape work ties the whole property into a single picture. A Cottonwood yard looks calm and composed even in August, when the city is baking. Like the tree on the riverbank, it is meant to look at home on the Kansas plains.
