Arbor Masters

About Arbor Masters

Kansas wind has nothing to catch on out here, and on the coldest mornings it drives loose snow flat across Kellogg before the grain elevators east of downtown even show gray against the sky. Arbor Masters is usually already moving by then — plows down, working driveways and commercial lots on the east side while most of the city is still dark. Scrape to the pavement, angle the blade, clear the next one, and watch a plain white yard turn back into somebody's driveway. There's something satisfying in that rasp of steel on concrete, the sound of a morning getting easier one property at a time. By the time delivery trucks start rolling down Kellogg, the routes are salted, the sky has gone from gray to pale blue, and the hard part of the day is already behind everyone who called.
