Lawn 316

About Lawn 316

A week's route across this city covers a lot of ground: brick side streets off Old Town, ranch houses on the south end, wide new lots on the far edges where the pavement is still bright. Lawn 316 runs all of it, mowing yards that could not be less alike and giving each one the same finish — even passes, a cut edge at every stretch of concrete, trimming worked into the corners a mower will never reach. Wichita summers push grass hard in June and starve it in August, so the schedule bends to the weather rather than the calendar. Walks and drives get cleared before the trailer gate goes up. Whatever part of the 316 a yard sits in, it should look like somebody took the time — and it will.
