About Dirt Kings LLC

Wellsville sits where the flat prairie gives way to the timbered bluffs above the Marais des Cygnes, and that terrain changes how snow behaves — it drifts into the low bends of the old trail roads out of town and piles against the tree lines instead of spreading even across open ground. Dirt Kings LLC reads that terrain the way an excavation crew reads a job site: where the grade dips near the river bottom, where a gravel lane climbs out of the timber, where a driveway needs a second pass because the wind funnels through a break in the oaks. Plows go out early along the farm roads feeding into town from every direction, clearing the frontage before the first light hits the grain bins. Loaders push the heavier drifts off rural driveways where a shovel would take all morning. It's the same eye for ground and grade that any dirt-moving job calls for, turned toward getting Wellsville's back roads and farm lots bare before the school run.
