About Hawkins Lawn Care

October in Wellington belongs to the big trees. Worden Park's shade canopy lets go all at once some years, and every block on the old brick-and-elm side of town wakes up to a lawn buried an inch deep in yellow. Hawkins Lawn Care spends that stretch mowing while there is still growth in the grass, hauling leaves off, edging where the summer let the turf creep over the concrete, and putting yards to bed tidy before the cold sets. A lawn raked clean in autumn looks twice its size, and there is something satisfying about handing that back to a homeowner on a bright, wind-scrubbed afternoon. When the mowing season closes down here, it closes clean.
