About Taussig Landscape

South and west of Wamego the ground lifts into the Flint Hills, and below them the Kansas River spreads through its wide bottom past Rocky Ford. Taussig Landscape works between the two — mowing town lots and country yards, trimming, keeping beds and borders defined against all that tall native grass beyond the fence. October turns the hills bronze and fills the yards with leaves, and the cleanup runs straight through until the ground goes hard. There is a plain pride in a lawn that stops exactly where the concrete begins. It holds through winter, and it starts over in April.
