About Geist Spreading & Hauling, LLC

The twin spires of the Cathedral of the Plains rise so far above Victoria that they are visible from section roads miles out across the wheat ground, a landmark the whole county navigates by long before the town itself comes into view — and on a snow morning, Geist Spreading & Hauling, LLC uses those same open sightlines to track a storm's approach across Ellis County. Wind off the high plains here drives snow sideways more often than it falls straight down, filling in driveways and field entrances fast enough that a single pass rarely holds. The crew works from the streets around the cathedral out to the farmsteads scattered across the surrounding wheat country, hauling drifted snow clear of entrances rather than just pushing it to the side where wind can move it back. A church parking lot opened before Sunday services, a farm lane cleared before chore time: those are the jobs the work actually serves. Geist Spreading & Hauling keeps that wide stretch of Ellis County open, drift by drift, until every listed address is clear.
