Koehn's Country Gardens

About Koehn's Country Gardens

North of Ulysses the section roads run out toward sandhills and the shallow bend of the Cimarron, and between them the irrigation circles turn all summer long. Koehn's Country Gardens keeps lawns green with that same careful economy of water and time — mowing on a rhythm the grass sets, trimming beds and borders back to a shape, tidying the yard when the season turns. There is real pleasure in a crisp line where turf meets walk, especially in country that wants every boundary to blur. Autumn arrives here in a single clear cold night, and the cleanup follows close behind. From the road, the place reads as cared for.
