About Mission Lawn and Concrete LLC

The morning after a spring rain, east Topeka smells like cut grass and wet limestone, and the Shunganunga runs full and brown under the Croco Road bridge. Mission Lawn and Concrete LLC works that window — once the ground has drained enough to hold a wheel and the grass has put on an inch overnight. Wet turf asks for a sharp blade and a slower walk, and a border cut clean along the drive keeps the whole yard from looking like it argued with the weather. Beds get pulled out, edges get redefined, and the mud gets swept back off the concrete where it belongs. What is left when the sun finally breaks through is a lawn that looks like the storm did it a favor.
