About Eben Ezer Lawncare & Landscaping

North of the river, the NOTO storefronts are still shuttered at seven on a Saturday, and the streets behind them are all dew and birdsong. Eben Ezer Lawncare & Landscaping starts there — mowing while the air is cool, trimming fence corners and mailbox posts, edging the sidewalk seams, blowing the cuttings back into the turf where they do some good. The Kaw bottoms push grass fast in a wet June and hold it slow in a dry one, and the schedule bends to whichever one the year decides to be. By the time the galleries open their doors, a whole stretch of North Topeka has been cut and put back together. Small work, done all the way through, given to the same streets week after week.
