About Armour Lawn Care

Late in an Oakland summer the light goes long and gold over the Soldier Creek bottoms, and the yards up on the flat cool off an hour before the pavement does. Armour Lawn Care keeps those north-side blocks in order — mowing on a set round, trimming along fence lines and foundations, edging where turf wants to creep over the drive, and blowing the drive clean before leaving. Bottomland soil grows a heavy fescue, thick enough to need a real cut instead of a nibble, and it rewards a blade that has kept its bite. Nothing about the work announces itself; you just notice a whole block sitting a little straighter. In Topeka, that steadiness through July, August and the long cleanup weeks after is the job.
