About Ark Valley Oil Co LLC

The Arkansas River runs mostly sand through Syracuse these days, its water claimed upstream long before it reaches Hamilton County, but the valley it carved still shapes every road and field for miles around town. Ark Valley Oil Co LLC has spent its regular days keeping farm tanks and county fuel routes running, and in winter that means clearing the same roads its trucks depend on before anyone else gets to them. A farmstead that needs fuel in a January cold snap needs a plowed lane just as much, and the crew treats the two jobs as one. There's a plain, practical pride in a delivery route that stays open no matter what the plains wind stacks across it overnight. The work covers Syracuse and the farm roads running out along the old river valley toward Coolidge and Lakin.
