About Pete's Construction, LLC

Out past Sublette the land runs flat clear to the horizon in every direction, broken only by center-pivot circles and the grain elevator standing up against the sky, and a Haskell County wind can turn a modest snowfall into a ground blizzard that erases the road entirely. Pete's Construction, LLC keeps its dirt-work equipment busy through the summer building pads and running dozer lines, and in winter that same equipment turns to opening roads the wind has erased overnight. Finding the edge of a buried farm lane by feel, blade just above the gravel, is its own kind of skill learned only by working this flat country long enough. A driveway cut clean back to a farmstead sitting alone against all that open sky means somebody isn't stuck out there until the wind quits. The crew runs section roads and driveways across Sublette and the farm country around it, wherever the wind piles snow highest.
