About B's Gardens LLC

April in the creek draws south of town is redbud season — that improbable pink smoked through gray timber — and it is the signal that the first mow of the year is close. B's Gardens LLC opens the season by clearing what winter left behind: matted leaves out of the fence corners and bed lines, twigs off the turf, the yard given room to breathe again. Then the mowing starts in earnest, week after week, with the trimmer working around mailboxes and swing-set legs while the edger draws its line along the drive. Spring in this corner of Kansas is loud and fast, grass gaining an inch between visits, and keeping stride with it is its own kind of pleasure. A yard that stays even all the way through May feels like a promise kept.
