Huerter Lawn Care

About Huerter Lawn Care

The lake at Shawnee Mission Park draws walkers and runners around its edge most of the year, and the neighborhoods that ring it are exactly the kind of place Huerter Lawn Care knows best — quiet streets where a clean driveway and a safe walk actually get used every single morning, snow or not. After a storm, the crew works those park-edge blocks with the same care given to the lawns all summer, clearing drives to the curb and treating walks before the first dog-walker is out testing the ice. A path to the door that's dry and sure-footed while the trail out past the yard is still packed with snow says something real about whether the work mattered that morning. Curbs get opened up too, so cars can pull out without fighting a windrow left by the plow. These are streets that stay full of walkers no matter the season, and keeping the ground under them safe is just the winter half of the same job.
