About Hermes Landscaping

North of Shawnee the land steps down toward the Kansas River, and out past Holliday the bottoms open into cottonwood and bur oak that turn slow and rust-colored in November. Hermes Landscaping brings some of that structure home into town — lawn mowing and maintenance, trimming and edging, bed work, mulch and plantings shaped to the way a yard actually sits. Grade, drainage, and where the light falls at four in the afternoon: those decide what will thrive and what will sulk. A border cut cleanly against fresh mulch does more for a house than most things you could hang on it. The aim is simple enough — leave a place looking like it grew that way on purpose.
