Kel's Tender Lawn Care

About Kel's Tender Lawn Care

A short drive north of town the prairie suddenly cracks open into springs and cottonwood shade at Lake Scott, proof that this country keeps a few secrets tucked under all that sky. Kel's Tender Lawn Care carries some of that gentleness back into Scott City itself, reading a lawn before the first pass rather than after it. Mowing and string trimming, edges along the drive and the walk, clippings cleared — done at a pace that leaves grass standing rather than shredded. Late September is the reward: low gold light across a yard cut that morning, elm shadows stretching all the way to the curb. There is a particular pride in a lawn that looks cared for instead of merely cut.
