Beau’s Mow & Trim

About Beau’s Mow & Trim

Out here the horizon does most of the talking, and the grain elevator north of town is the tallest thing for miles. Beau's Mow & Trim works the lawns of Scott City in the cool hour after sunrise, when the wind off the wheat ground is still deciding what it wants to do. Mowing, trimming, edging — the plain work that turns a yard on a wide-open street into something with a shape. A clean line along the walk reads a long way in that flat prairie light. By the time the heat climbs and the pivots start their slow turn out west, the clippings are blown off the drive and the mower is loaded.
