About Goodman Brothers LLC

The roads leading into Sabetha run up and over the same rolling hills that have always shaped Nemaha County farming, past grain bins standing tall against a flat winter sky, and it's along those roads that Goodman Brothers LLC does most of its winter work. A hill that barely registers in a truck come summer turns into a real obstacle once it's iced over, so this crew knows which grades to hit first after a storm and which ones can wait an hour for the sun to help. Clearing a farm lane or a long driveway out past the edge of town means working around drifts that pile unevenly on hill country, deeper on the lee side of every rise. There's a plain, steady satisfaction in getting a rural driveway open again, the grain bins catching the first full sun of the morning once the lane's clear. Sabetha's hill-country roads stay passable through the winter because someone's willing to run them early.
