About Deters Mowing Services

Princeton is a handful of streets in Marais des Cygnes country, where the yards run wide and the ditch grass runs wider, and most afternoons the loudest thing around is a train or a tractor. Deters Mowing Services covers exactly that kind of ground — big lots, acreage edges, the long open stretches that need a genuine mowing pass rather than a quick lap around the house. Trimming tightens things back up around posts, propane tanks and porch steps, and a final clearing puts the drive back to gravel and the walk back to stone. In spring the whole valley greens up almost overnight and visits come close together; by August the mowing spaces out and the work turns to keeping the edges from creeping in. Either way, a sharply cut yard set against Franklin County farmland is a fine thing to drive past.
