Tim's Lawn-Care

About Tim's Lawn-Care

Cicadas wind up around seven in Chicopee, and there is almost always one mower still running somewhere down the block, finishing the last yard before the light goes amber and quits. Tim's Lawn-Care keeps that hour — modest lots, a route the neighbors can set their week by, the truck coming down the same street on the same day whether the grass sprinted or barely moved. Leaves in November get the same treatment as June growth: taken off completely, corners included, rather than pushed around until they blow back. The part worth lingering over is the edge, cut so straight along the drive you could lay a string against it. Pittsburg and its close neighbors — Chicopee, Frontenac, Croweburg and Arma — make up the whole map.
