Pittsburg Mow

About Pittsburg Mow

August afternoons build thunderheads over the western edge of Crawford County, and the trick is finishing the route before they arrive. Pittsburg Mow is exactly what the name says — mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing off the drive, week in and week out through the growing season. There is no mystery to a good lawn in this town, only cadence: the right height, the right day, every single time. A yard on a steady schedule never has that shaggy week where the neighbors begin to wonder. By the time the rain finally breaks over the roofs, the grass is already cut and the walks are already clean.
