About Solida Tree Service Inc

The shelterbelts planted generations back still stand in long rows around Phillipsburg, breaking the worst of the plains wind before it reaches a farmyard or a driveway. Solida Tree Service Inc knows those windbreaks well, working a plow blade clean and steady in the calm pockets behind them while the open fields nearby are still drifting sideways. Snow piles differently on every side of a shelterbelt line, thin on the windward edge and deep in the lee, so clearing it takes reading the ground as much as running the blade. A driveway tucked behind a good stand of cedar and cottonwood comes clear, walk and drive both open while the wind keeps working the field beyond the trees. Phillipsburg's winters are shaped as much by those old tree rows as by the snow itself, and Solida Tree Service keeps the ground beneath them clear.
