About Wood's Tree Service and Landscaping LLC

November wind comes out of the northwest across the open ground south of 151st Street and strips whatever the oaks were still holding onto, all in an afternoon. Wood's Tree Service and Landscaping LLC works the closing weeks of the Overland Park season then, clearing leaf and limb litter off lawns and out of beds before winter sets it in place. The last mow goes down a notch lower than summer height, beds get a fresh layer of mulch to carry the roots through the cold, and the yard is left looking finished rather than abandoned. Through the growing months it is the ordinary rhythm instead — cutting, trimming, edging, keeping the bed lines honest against grass that would happily take them back. The seasons here swing hard in both directions, and the yard is kept level through all of it.
