About Staton Lawn Services

The best hour on Nall Avenue in July is the last one — light coming in sideways, heat finally letting go, somebody's sprinkler throwing a small rainbow across the sidewalk. Staton Lawn Services often finishes its day in that light, the final mow of the route going down in long cool passes while the cicadas wind up in the elms. Every yard on the schedule gets the same three things done: cut at a height that suits the season, trimmed tight where the mower cannot reach, and edged so the lawn ends exactly where the concrete starts. Clippings get blown off the drive and walk before the truck leaves, which is a small thing that people notice every single time. A week later the route comes back around and does it again.
